After pellet pressing the material is cooled down. This leads to hardening and the form stability of the pellets for their subsequent storage. The coolers, operated in the counter flow principle, ensure efficient cooling with a relatively low cooling air requirement.
The slightly aggressive steams caused when cooling the pellets is taken into account by the standard cooler construction out of high-grade steel. Together with the robust hydraulic discharge used by us, this ensures long availability. The capacity ranges of the coolers in modular construction are between 2 and 20 t/h for Ø 6 mm pellets, depending on the model.
